We love living in this area and being able to take advantage of all the patriotic and historical things around us. It is certainly so humbling to know that so many have sacrificed for our freedom and that so many continue to today.

Memorial Day
On Monday Peter and I met my cousin Brooke and her friend Amy for the annual Memorial Day Service at the Arlington Cemetary. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and it's incredible how it turns your thoughts to those who have served our country. We enjoyed performances from the Air Force Band and heard from President Obama. We love living in this area and being able to take advantage of all the patriotic and historical things around us. It is certainly so humbling to know that so many have sacrificed for our freedom and that so many continue to today.

we are so excited for this summer too- Rosie was saying you guys would probably stay here- we are planning on it!!! Let us know what you are thinking and what you may need- see you guys soon!
