Happy Birthday to Peter

Yesterday was Peter's Birthday and so we made a party of it. We went over to his family's house where his mother and I made his favorite meal, homemade gyoza and rice. These gyoza are not like any you've tasted before, they have crab, shrimp, and pork inside. They are ridiculously good. Peter's Mom also made shrimp and vegetable tempura. It was a feast for all and Peter loved it! He said yesterday, "The best birthday presents are the ones you can eat." Does that sound like Peter or what?!We ended the night with a little American Idol and a chocolate turtle cake. Thanks for having a birthday Peter, so we could have a celebration. Love you.

Happy Birthday Peter! That really does sound like the best feast ever. Maybe I could trade lessons on the gyoza for the lesson I just got from Aly's Indian teacher on making the best Samosa's and Tandoori chicken??? Still might not be a fair trade, lol.
