Happy 32 Weeks to Me
When we first found out we were pregnant the doctors instructed us that the goal would be to make sure we could keep the babies in for at least 32 weeks. We made it. Today I hit 32 weeks and the babies are still doing well. So we've made it and now it's just a matter of the babies letting us know when they are ready to come. We are so excited for them to join us. I am a giant these days and will be so grateful to get a little relief. We're excited that we made it this far with no problems, pre-term labor, or complications; so to celebrate Peter made a cake. Good 'ol Peter.
Peter turns 30
This post is really late, but in January, Peter hit the big 3-0! We celebrated with a steak dinner at Outback and then cake at home with the Hawks. Corie makes the best birthday cakes and made this Settlers-like cake for Peter with each piece representing something he loves. It was a really impressive cake and I was so grateful she made his birthday a special one (since I lack in the energy department).

Almost 2 Pounds
A couple of weeks ago we had another growth scan for the babies and found out that they are about 2 lbs. each. It's crazy to think about how fast they are growing and even more crazy to think that they still need to at least double in size before they come (not sure how that's possible)! This particular appointment really got to me emotionally. I cannot adequately express how grateful I am to be able to be pregnant and to have children. I feel very fortunate for the opportunity and am beyond excited that I get three babies. They took a couple of 3D pictures and they are adorable. I can't believe how cute their little faces are! We only got part of Baby B and one of Baby A. All of the kids heads were close together so it was hard for the doctor to get good pictures. I realize I'm probably a nerdy first time mom for saying this, but their little faces are the cutest things ever!

I am still holding up well for the most part. I'm definitely uncomfortable but I'm still moving around and smiling.

Pregnancy Update
I know it's been a while since I've last updated, I seriously lack the motivation lately. I'm pretty tired most of the time, I hope that's a good enough excuse for everyone. Well I am 23 weeks along now and doing pretty well. I have had morning sickness throughout my pregnancy, but it's starting to get better, not gone, but definitely not as frequent. My belly is growing rapidly, it's really surprising actually. Each week I can't believe how much it's grown. I am feeling the babies kick a lot lately and it's exciting. Just over the last week we've started to be able to see them kicking from the outside of my belly (ALIENS!). Our La-Z-Boy arrived and that has been amazing! It really has saved me during many sleepless mornings and after a long day of work. Speaking of work, Friday was my last day. I'm proud to say I made it that long and that I was able to complete all the work that I needed to. I'm a little nervous about getting bored over the next few months, but this is definitely for the best.
In BIG NEWS, we found out we are having 2 BOYS and a GIRL! We've kind of neglected to announce that on this blog, sorry. We are so excited though and can't wait to meet all of them.
For those of you who keep asking, here's a belly picture.

He did it!
We just found out that Peter got his first choice of residency! He was accepted into the anesthesia residency program in San Antonio, TX. So yes, we will be moving to San Antonio this summer. I am so very excited for Peter. He has worked so hard in medical school and it's so nice to see that he is rewarded by being able to do what he wants to do. We are excited for the new adventure well. Congrats Peter!
