Another Shout Out

I'd like to give a little shout out to my sister, Heather. My sister just continues to amaze me with everything she does. In this time where people are loosing their jobs and many are feeling insecure that they may loose theirs shortly, my sister got a promotion. A big one! And not only did she get a promotion but she came in 7th in the U.S. in sales within her company. She works for a company that leases business space to a variety of businesses throughout the world. So yeah, my sister is one of the top sellers in her company and it's only her first month in her new position. Who does that?! I am proud of myself if I just make it through the day, but not my sister, she's such a hard worker.

In addition to being great at her job, my sister is a great friend to me. She is there to listen when I need her and constantly boosts me up when I need it. She is a darling mother to her two girls, always trying to make them happy. One thing I love about my sister is that she makes friends with everyone she meets. People love her because she's so friendly, considerate and doesn't judge their circumstances.
She's pretty impressive, my sister, and I just thought everyone should know it.

Ever get sick of working?

I'm getting really bored with working everyday. It just becomes so routine and I don't love it. Is this just how it is as an adult?

Did you know....

that if you mix these two candies (Sour Patch Kids and Twizzlers) together, you've get an EXTRA delicious treat? This has honestly been one of my favorite candy combinations for years now. I love it and even crave it often (even though I'm suppose to be an adult now). It seems to somehow make everything happy again. You should try it sometime.

A happy day

Two Sundays ago was a really happy day. I was in San Diego attending church with my Aunt and one of my good friends from high school, Michelle, walked in with her family. I have not seen her in several years although we have corresponded briefly over that time.

Of course we chatted for a while after the meeting and I can't stop thinking about it. My friend Michelle has since gotten married to a great guy, joined the LDS church, and now has two kids of her own. It was so great to sit down and catch up on all the details of her life. I wish I could describe to you how happy she was. I could just tell on her face and in her voice as she described her life and being a mom. It made me so happy to see this. I can't seem to stop thinking about it and I'm getting emotional even writing about this. I just feel this burst of joy thinking about how happy she is and all the changes and blessing she has in her life.I've spent my entire life hoping that others could feel the joy I have in my life. I chose my profession because of that, I served a mission for the LDS church, and try to be a good person for that very reason. Life is about having joy and to see that someone I care about gets that and has that in her life; it just brings me even greater happiness. It reminded me once again how much joy we can receive from knowing and following Jesus Christ and through family life.

Congratulations to these Two

Marianne (Peter's sister) just got engaged to a Mr. Bradley Jurgensmeier and we are so excited for these two. Marianne is all giggles around this boy and it's great to see her so happy. You deserve it Marianne! Plus, Brad seems to be a solid guy who treats her right. We're excited to have you in the family Brad!We just bought our tickets to fly out for the celebration and are so excited. There will be many family fun outings in Idaho and Utah surrounding this wedding in July and we can't wait!
